Frequently asked questions

Is Trustdossier a certificate or seal?
No. Your profile is a self-assessment: it shows what you have in place and the evidence behind it. For a formal certificate (such as the NIS2 Supply Chain label) you work with a certification body — your dossier is the preparation for that.
Who is Trustdossier for?
For suppliers with 5 to 100 employees who receive security questionnaires from larger customers: IT services, logistics, engineering and business services. No security background needed.
What exactly is the Cyberbeveiligingswet?
The Cyberbeveiligingswet (Cbw) is the Dutch implementation of the European NIS2 directive, in force from 15 August 2026. Large organizations must then demonstrably vet their suppliers — which is why you, as a supplier, receive questionnaires.
Where is my data stored?
On servers within the EU, stored encrypted. We sign a data processing agreement with you and publish our own list of subprocessors.
My customer requires their own Excel format. Is that possible?
Yes. You import your customer’s sheet, answer it from your dossier and export the same file — completed. You include the link to your profile as supporting evidence.
